Description
Six different kinds of CellCrown™6 inserts are currently available; non-sterile and sterile empty inserts and sterile inserts with preattached, white nylon membrane with pore size of 5 μm, with transparent polycarbonate filter with pore size of 1 μm and transparent clear PET membrane with pore sizes of 0.4 and 8.0 μm. The nylon filter is hydrophilic and binds proteins. The PET filter is hydrophilic and treated for smooth cell attachment. Polycarbonate is the right material choice for the filter when cells and proteins are not wanted to attach on the filter
