One-year follow-up of patients treated for rhizarthrosis with the RegJoint™ implant (2024)
Clinical Outcomes of RegJoint™ Implant in Bulgaria: Follow-Up of 48 Patients
Denitsa Vasileva and colleagues published a study in the second quarter of 2024 reporting the clinical outcomes of 48 patients treated with the RegJoint™ implant in two Bulgarian hospitals. The publication includes a detailed description of the rehabilitation protocol, which involved staged mobilization and therapeutic exercises. The results showed favorable clinical outcomes, including pain reduction and improved hand function. The study supports the use of RegJoint™ as a viable option for treating rhizarthrosis within a structured rehabilitation pathway.
